About the Artist: David Irving is a New Zealand born self taught artist who
works in the countryside of New Zealand producing mainly classic
automobile artworks. Although David studied art through his schooling,
when he left there were no jobs available. He travelled to England where
he spent 3 years working and traveling throughout Europe. Davids works
are sometimes called photo-realism works as his attention to detail is
amazing, right down to tire tread patterns or window stickers. He works
mainly in pencil or watercolour and his works sell worldwide. He also
produces images of militaria, aircraft, historic buildings, landscapes and
portraits. David's spare time is spent with his wife and two daughters and
he is a member of the local volunteer fire brigade. Recently David was
accepted into the prestigious British "Guild of Motoring Artist's" who's
members produce some of the best auto art in the world today. David also
